A report has just been produced stating that some employees are bored at work and therefore looking for a new job. The article goes onto say what employees are doing about it ie setting themselves deadlines, prioritising to try re-engaging themselves. Here is the article for you to read

What it doesn’t say is that they speak to their employer. Unless they tell you, there is nothing you can do about it. Also everyone has to acknowledge that every role has a boring part it can’t all be exciting and challenging.
As an employer do you ensure your managers are having one to one’s every week with their employees? Do you know what is discussed; is there a frame work/agenda? Does your manager feedback to you what is discussed in your one to one or is it just going into the manager’s book?
