Your employees will want to know they could receive if the role is made redundant, they need to plan. When the redundancy is confirmed, breakdown the figures and give them to employee so they know what they can expect, which parts are tax free and which are not, are they expected to work their notice period. Point them into the direction of the Government’s redundancy calculator so they can check for themselves.
Also, when they can expect to receive the payments as well as their P45, how can they access their payslips. Do forget to include any holiday that has not been taken and remember you can no longer claim any back through the furlough scheme.
