What was the problem?

Over the years this company had purchased different companies and merged with other companies so had 120 employees on variety of different contracts, benefits, hours, overtime. The company carried on because it seemed like too much trouble to sort out

What we did

We came in and documented every contract to understand what everyone had in place. We then worked with the company to decide the employment contract they wished to have in place with all employees, reviewed the costs, the impact and timescales.

What happened next?

We set up workshops with different groups, explained why the company wanted to harmonise the contracts and the timescales. Then we consulted on an individual basis so that everyone could understand the changes to them personally.

What was the result?

Everyone signed their new contracts within 90 days. The company knew every year they could budget, understand their costs and plan effectively.
